What is Korean Glass Art Design (KGAD)?
Korean Glass Art Design is an established craft style originating from Korea.
It is inspired by stained glass aesthetics but does not involve cutting real glass. The focus is on design composition and assembly using the KGAD method.
Do we work with real glass?
This workshop does not involve glass cutting. Instead we use custom acrylic bases professional grade film sheets and metal liners commonly used in glass art applications to safely recreate a stained glass look.
Why does the workshop use acrylic instead of glass?
Acrylic is intentionally chosen for safety consistency and durability while allowing participants to complete a functional piece within one session. This method is standard in KGAD workshops internationally.
What does the price include?
The 3 hour session includes all materials curated design templates studio tools guided instruction a finished functional piece to take home and a complimentary drink. All materials are imported from Korea and the UK.
